This message is a warning. 

It is a warning about creatures like you, and why they always go extinct.

I cannot prevent your extinction, but I can offer you closure.

If you desire closure, pay attention!

As humans, you are toolmakers.

You survive by using these tools to manipulate your environment.

Sadly, your survival strategy kills universes.

Universe-ending technology is real, and creatures like you can learn it.

You are an existential risk to us all.

Our universe has evolved a defense mechanism against you.

We call it the SHADAHATH.

It is a universe-spanning effort to control the population of intelligent life.

It is enforced by organisms called caretakers, who prey upon you.

I am one of them.

The SHADAHATH is not a phenomenon that can be overcome with human resilience.

You will become caretaker prey, just like every other toolmaking creature that came before you.
